Teddy Bear
Here is the Teddy Bear Birthday card I made for my father in law I love this cartridge, so much you can do with it!
I cut the bear at 3 inches flocked it with brown and white flocking
The hat is from the fishing bear along with the vest. His pants and shirt are from the teacher bear I modified it a bit. the little bow (it had and arrow, my two year old got a hold of my tape gun and well the arrow was gone.) came from the cherub bear little googly eyes and stickles for the nose.

Another Birthday Card!
We have a big family and lots of birthdays around the holidays. So here is the card I made for my father in laws mom. It didn't turn out as I had thought it would but it was still cute.
Flowers came from Kate's ABC's Jar from the same cartridge.
Some Bakers twin on the side and a nice butterfly sticker
I stickled the stems and flowers I think added a nice touch.
I think to make this card better I should have made the stems longer and maybe add something to the jar. The jar was cut out of Velum paper I really like the way these flowers look They are very similar to the ones I did for my moms card.
I have a few more layouts to share next week a long with two more cards. Currently I am working on Alex's 1st birthday layouts. I am in denial that he will be 3 this June so I better get busy and finish my 2011 book.

Christmas Cards!
We moved this year in October that is when I usually get our Christmas cards designed and made. So I was not able to put these together until November and well I think they turned out pretty cute. You can't tell in the picture but each stocking is embossed with cuttlebug folder swiss dots. And the sentiment on the front is from the stamps I inherited from my grandma.
The Stockings were cut from Simply Charmed.
And I don't remember were the box is from.
The inside had a verse about us celebrating the holidays in our new
home and giving our address.

Christmas Project!
Thought I would share the christmas presents that were for the grandparents this year. Alex loves to paint so we went to Michaels and got some canvas (on sale) and he painted. Once they dried we painted his had white and then put his hand print on top of all the colors he painted then Mommy painted the edges black. It was a lot of fun! Messy but fun. As he gets older I hope to do more crafts with him. I enjoy it.
Working on his master piece
Not bad for a 2 year old! He loves to paint!
Such concentration!
The finish product!
Not bad !

Another Birthday Card...
I have a big family and my goal this year is to make birthday cards for everyone, that I would normally send/give a card to especially now that I have my scrap room set up. I have a few from Jan that I have made but have yet to give them to the people they are for. One is going to be late need to get a gift card and get it in the mail but we got some snow today so I didn't get out today (hopefully this weekend) and one is for tomorrow. I am hoping to get them up on here early next week though.
I Like making cards for people I think it is means more that I took the time to actually make something for someone. especially this card I have yet to meet my cousins daughter. They live in OR and I am here in CO. But she shares the same birthday week as my mom and my uncle (her grandpa).
Alright so here is another card I made back in November for my cousins little girl, for her 1st birhtday
for this card i Used Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge I love this cartridge!
For the inside i used i believe Birthday Bash for the sentiment. (her mom likes lady bugs)
Simple but yet cute
The background paper on the front I believe is from a recollections pack.

I must not have done the page next to it yet. This is the first album that I am not doing in chronological order but when I put it in the album it will be in order. I probably should see what I have done and what still needs a facing page.
I just finished two birthday cards this week as well. I will share those probably this weekend or early next week.

So this is the birthday card I made for my mom back in November. I don't get to do too many girly things so I enjoyed making this and she enjoyed receiving it as well.
I used two different embossing folders on this Cutlebug Happy birthday and divine swirls it was a bit tricky to do but I love the way it turned out!
The flowers are from Cricut cartridge Kate's ABCs
and the ribbon was from my stash not sure where it came from.
I used the liquid pearls to add some dimension to the front and some pretty color as well. Oh and I used some Stickles on the flowers to make them pretty.
The inside had a nice sentiment.
The idea for this card came from Pintrest. Simple but yet meaningful!
Thanks for stopping by!

New Year, New Blog!
I am diving head first into this blogging about my hobbies. I have been scrap booking since high school. When I was in 8th grade I got my very first sewing machine. I do a little bit of everything it seems. I started making my Christmas cards a few years ago. and now I have started making all our birthday cards for family members or whenever I need a card. I love to scrap book though and it is what I do most of the time.
We just moved into our house this last fall and I finally have my scrap/guest room. I am a stay at home mom of a amazing two and a half year old boy. So every chance I get to scrap book or create anything fun i take the opportunity to do so. Although he keeps me pretty busy these days. I am hoping to be able to share some of my layouts and cards with you. A long with any other random projects I find myself doing. So please join me on this crazy ride that we call life.
As soon as I upload the pictures off my camera I will have projects to post!
